The conservatism (spelling) you speak of is way right of sensibility in every respect possible.
Your Trump vote will bring nothing of what you speak of in terms of anything "needed". The teaparty GOP has led the party by the nose to an agenda of pure obstruction and opposition to anything and everything. In spite of this the Obama administration has been ranked as the most effective in terms of getting things done.
Another example of what the GOP has done was their shutting government down action and how dangerous that is to the stock market and economy. They are already making noises about what currently constitutional laws they can attempt to repeal with the threat of shutting government down.
Trump as president would bring no understanding or insights into complex financial and economic stability. He would in fact bring the opposite. If the president decides to play power play games and send a message about buckling to his or the party's demands it would likely be played like congress has played obstruction. Except that the president could bring one new element, Trump would likely make the government even more dysfunctional by vetoing bills there is no reason to veto, bipartisan bills. I could see him making deal after deal with large corporations with no regard to the penalties.
It was corporation favoring profits and subsidies that caused 25 million jobs to be lost overseas during the Bush administration. The GOP has a raft of new policies that would encourage companies to take their manufacturing overseas.
Any US based corporation should be denied any write off, subsidy, or tax break associated with their expenses of overseas manufacturing. Give them four years to bring it back, and subsidize the expenses associated with bringing manufacturing to the US.
Cruz has been a disappointment since he was born.
