AR Scabbard

Looking for something that I can carry on my back that will fit a scoped AR with the muzzle pointing UP. I will use it while riding my motorcycle.

Anyone got something they like?

I've gun a Blackhawk rifle case that I can throw across my back, made to hold 5 or 6 30rd mags and some other goodies too.

That's what I've got, not shown but mine has an adjustable strap along the back to carry on your back.

I made a two strap sling for mine, they are on quick release swivels with a safety loop on the top in case the swivel should slip.



I haul my bolt guns in a Nimrod back scabbard but the grip on the AR gets in the way.

I do have a tactical bag that's has shoulder straps, but I am looking for more of a scabbard type pack. The nimrod style won't work because I have to be able to sit and ride.

You can tighten one shoulder strap and loosen the other on the nimrod and it will sit diagonal across your back to clear the seat.

I'll try and get a picture of it angled and with an AR in it.

Good idea but looks like it hangs too low. Can it cinch up above your rear? I need to be able to sit.

I've never tried sitting on a quad with it but if the butt of the rifle was resting on the seat it would just push the sling up .

Why not rig a scabbaord from handlebars down along the forks ?
