I have built two uppers, with AR Performance barrels, and both exceeded my expectations for accuracy. And the barrels were reasonably priced. I will buy more ARP barrels.

Mine is a 20" ape built by bison... The use er shaw barrels I believe but didn't notice any "fairy dust" when I opened the box, or when I shoot it. So far I have only shot hornady 110 bthp but groups them under 1/2 moa when I do. Would highly recommend bison have $845 in it for the complete upper...... Is there something wrong with an er shaw barrel?

I'm selling a 16" ARP scout profile barrel simply because the muzzle contour is less than Silencerco's recommended minimum for threading on my Omega (very low round count if anyone is interested). Instead I'll either be buying a Bison Armory or Wilson Combat barrel. All are good companies to order from for a 6.8 build.

I have a White Oaks Armament premium barrel (kreiger blank I believe) and it shot .5" with the very first load I tried, so I never tried anything else. Now I shoot 110 g. Vmax or 110 grain accubond, both with H322 and CCI SR primers.

A 6.8 upper with a Black Hole barrel that Ritch built. 100 yards. Average for five five shot groups was 0.434.
