DPMS Oracle

Whats everyones opinion on the DPMS oracle , the good , and the bad .

I had a 16" in 5.56 (changed out the handgaurd and flash hider). It loved the 60 grain Vmax, CFE powder and CCI 41 primers. It produce under MOA groups at 100 yds.

Fired 500 plus rounds through it and never had any issues. I sold it to my son-in- law because I found myself using my 6.8 SPC 98% of the time. I changed the handgaurd and flash hider.

A friend of mine has one and really likes his, great for calling coyotes!

i've got the dpms oracle in 5.56 my son has the 308 they both shoot fine. i am really happy with mine.

I'll agree with former posters here. I have a 16" DPMS Oracle A3 upper and it really likes the 60 grain projectiles pushed with 24-24.5 gr of H335. Definitely under 1 MOA. I changed the handguard to a Magpul MOA slim in FDE and changed the bolt carrier group and charging handle and it's a sweet rig now.

I got mine a few months ago. With my reloads I am getting an inch and a quarter groups. I am sure more trigger time will tighten that a bit.
