idaho calling????

I have some interest in trying to call southern Idaho, particularly in the red desert. Does anyone know anything about this area or how much pressure it might get? Any feedback is good feedback. Thx!
 
I didn't even know Idaho had an area called the Red Desert. I've only heard of the Red Desert in WY, the area from Rawlins to Rock Springs
 
Sorry, I haven't heard of that place either. I used to call in the Owyhees in the south west, but that's the extent of my southern travels for calling. When the Randy Anderson craze took off, the guys from the Treasure Valley were all over down there. Made it kinda challenging after that.

Yep. You have to have a hunting license to carry a firearm in the field. Kinda stupid, but we have to fund the biologists somehow. Don't need a license if you are hunting with a bow or air rifle. I'm sure they'll change that as the air rifles get more popular though.
