Well I finally got an ar15 for coyote hunting. Didn't take long to figure out this thing goes through a lot of rounds in a hurry.
Iv loaded shotgun and pistol for 25 years, but always liked factory ammo in my 22-250. Anyway, I rolled some test loads today, my first ever rifle loads to by the way. Hopefully my Remington will like one of them.
5 rounds each, 50 gr v-max with cfe223 ranging from 27.0 to 28.5 grains. Will get to the range next weekend for results.

in my experience you can do initial load development with 3 rounds per charge. then once you have what appears to be your accuracy load, you do a small batch of those and go shoot some 5 round groups to prove the load.
