7mm rem mag

I like h4831 or retumbo. I shot some 168s. Start around 62gr and work it. My Bergers are all jumping. I don't Jann them. My 140s are about 3.400

Start off at 68g of Retumbo with a Fed 215, shoot two shot groups, work up to 71.0g which is a max safe load in my rifle. Just a WAG, start with .020 bullet jump, you will not know till you experiment from a slight jam to a jump of .060.

If your gun does not like the 168, try the Hornady 162g SST, tough bullet, good enough for elk as two friends went to Africa and both killed 6 plains game each including Kudu and Eland, one shot each with all DRT! PH was very impressed to say the least, MV was 3130 fps.

I jam the lands with the SST with 71.0g of Retumbo in my Rem 700, and 72.0g with my 28" custom 7 mag, 3120 and 3200 respectively. These loads are rough on primer pockets, but bug hole groups are hard to argue with.

Mine Shoots 1 hole groups with 70.5 grains of retumbo and a 168 berger vld. I have shot it to 1600 yards! Rifle is a Remington sendero 7mm with a 1-9.25 twist. I am loading g mine .05 off the lands and running about 3080fps

I have a 7mm Sendero as well, I shoot the 168 gr Bergers with 64.0 gr of IMR 7828. I'm also .050 off the lands. Very good results. Also have good results with 162 gr ELDs.

I just shot the best group of my life at 500 yards w/Retumbo & the 168 bergs. Browning Xbolt w/3.5-10 Leupy w/CDS turret. Light and deadly!
