I started calling and I had a squirrel start barking.. Have no idea what their vocals mean, but it came in making a lot of noise.. A lot of noise for such a small creature;
A short time later I had hens putting behind me;
They where close so I stayed silent;
I sat there for the better part of an hour with hens scratching thru dried leaves.. Then poof, I saw a red head amongst the hens..this Tom came out of nowhere.. I was not calling and he never gobbled.. Lifted the shotty sloth like.. Drew a bead on that joker;
