Wanting to know what shank a savage model 10 wsm barrel is

Varminterror New member Apr 25, 2016 #3 Pretty certain there has never been a WSM savage made on a small shank.
A Ankeny New member Apr 26, 2016 #4 Yup, WSM calibers are large shank, except for the first production runs. A few RUM and WSM rifles were built on the standard shank. Standard shank barrel nut is indeed 5/8 long.
