Day vs night hunting

I prefer days but have much more luck getting responses at night. I've killed 5 times as many at night as opposed to day hunting despite doing both equally

2 totally separate types of hunting (day-night). Daytime is easier for coyotes. Nighttime is pretty much a 2 person deal where as daytime solo hunting works just fine. As already stated, shooting multiples at night is tough (that come in together) where as in the daytime, if you can shoot, hitting a running coyote isn't a big deal. On hot days you'll probably see more stuff at night, and it's comfortable. Once it gets cold we usually call in as many coyotes in the day as we do the night. Bobcats are much easier at night though...mainly because you see everyone that comes your way.

I've been hunting at night solo for years! With the advent of smaller LED lights it got a lot easier...

when i started out...

moved to the LED Predator light...

evolved to this and a good head lamp...
