223 AI Fps ??

I am shooting a 223 AI 75g A-max 17 inch barrel with 25.3g IMR 8208. I am getting 2840fps. Does that seem on track for speed and that short of a barrel.

Sounds about right to me. Adding 5 inches more barrel would get you roughly 200fps more so 3000fps for that combo...yep about right.

I get 3000 out of a 22"
