There is a lot of brakes and comps out there. Just need some ideas on getting what I want. Would like stainless but black would be fine. Barrel measures .750" 5/8" 24TPI thread .25 cal bullet. Wanting to keep muzzle rise down don't mind if loud. No spikes to tear gun case. I like supporting the the smaller shops but want to keep the price around $80. Thanks

I have one that I picked up to put on my 7mm mag. When I get a new barrel for it. Hasn't happened yet but the machining is nice on it. I'm sure you know that radial brakes can kick up a lot of dust when shooting prone.

American Precision Arms is very popular with competitors in the Precision Rifle Series, but they come with a hefty price. Center Shot Rifles makes a really great brake that keeps the rifle shooting flat and stays on target. The CSR Blast Tamer seems to find it's way into the winner's circle on a frequent basis. I recently put one on a 6.5 Creedmoor and the brake works well as advertised. They are available from bugholes.com. I have a clamp on style to switch between brake and suppressor. In retrospect, the thread on would have been the way to go because I don't plan on switching. The 3 port 5/8-24 $80.00 and it works great. The 6.5 should work fine on your .25 cal.
