if anyone is interested in adding one to your bench, now's probably the time. This is the best deal i think i've seen on these over the last couple years.

We have a Cabela's store in Garner NC. I walked in last month and got one for $289, right off the shelf and then got some rebate for future RCBS purchases

ya i just caught the nachez thing on another forum i posted this.

if you're gonna go that route, know that you can combine stuff to hit a $$ value for the rebate.

so grab yourself an extra shell holder, or bullet puller collet, whatever... it'll (essentially) be free anyway

If you'll move that dang press and those trays you'll have room for at least 2 more!

Got one from Graffs a couple years ago with a similar deal, and
it has been great. Anyone who's been on the fence about it, ya
more than likely will never regret getting one now when you will
get the best deal of the year. Keep it away from flourescent lights
and electrical fields (like refrigerators, microwaves, etc.) and
it will work with fantastic accuracy.

this is especially true with older fluorescent fixtures - primarily those running the fat T12 lamps. Those are typically driven by magnetic ballasts. No bueno around sensitive electronic scales like this.

modern t8 or t5's driven with electronically fired ballasts should be fine.

I ran a high output (54w 48") T5 over my bench until last year and never had a problem with it interfering with my setup. But it was a pure electronic ballast driven fixture. Those emmit very very little EM interference.

the other option for folks who still have old fluorescents is to update to LED's. LED ribbon lighting has come down to a VERY affordable price these days. I've got as strip of this stuff mounted under the shelf on my bench. I replaced a 54w T5 with like 30w of LED ribbon. I had to use different mounting tape than came on it to get it to stay suspended. but it was a great upgrade. you could easily unwire a flourscent fixture and stick these to the inside of the fixture where the lamps used to be. mounting options are only limited by your imagination.
