Coyote board size

I'm using NAFA pattern boards. Have the large and small coyote boards.

I'm wondering at what weight I should be using large or small... The 35#+ coyotes look right on the large boards for sure. The ones around 25# look too long and narrow on the small boards though.

Starting to think the small boards are perhaps for southern coyotes? And maybe all or most northern coyotes should be put up on large boards? Anybody know for sure?
Thanks

I should have added, the reason I sometimes use a small board on coyotes under 30# is that the neck area is so tight on the large boards... Thought maybe the fur up there would be thinned when stretched so tight? BUT, the pelt below the neck seems stretched about right on the large boards.

After more thought, I believe the ones with tighter necks that I put on small boards were females... They may have a smaller neck than males?

The snow melted off the dead pile and sure enough the males do have a bigger neck. Anyone looking for a couple NAFA 'small' coyote boards?
