243 lbc barrel arrived from BHW today!!

Most of my R-P brass has going on 17 reloads & not 1 loss.
3550 is great speed w/the 58g. Im running 3563-3590 in my 6x6.8 55g w/h335.
Ive run it to 3690, but backed down since I wanted it right around 3500.
I feel you will be getting more loads on brass than you think.

These four groups were 100 yds, 75 gr hdy hp over 29.6 gr 8208. Wolf primer. seated into the lands.

Decent but not quite stellar. I cannot seem to get the odd flier out of the group. The top left was the first in the series, and the wild shot was second shot in that group. In fairness, I've shot a lot of these bullets, and cannot remember them ever shooting much better than that. I've got another 400 of them and think it's going to work just fine for coyotes! Speed is a very decent 3250.

I did learn this barrel does not like to be clean! The first group today was after cleaning, then firing a fouler, and still looked bad. But it doesn't really foul at all with this load, no copper to speak of and very little powder.

none of my bhw barrels like being clean. will take 4-7 foulers from squeaky clean till things tighten up. Not a big deal as you said, they dont really get fouled so I just dont clean them very often.

ETA: try cci450 primers if you have any.
