He always wants to go but I have not taken him for over a year as he woofed as one was coming in and that coyote went bye. We have until March 15 th before wolf season ends and maybe Gus will wiggle around whine a bit to entice the wolves or coyotes to get a better look.I tried to get him to retrieve one I had shot last year that got into the thick timber and he tracked it right up to the thick stuff and then turned to me and that look said "I'm not goin in there ". Luck for me was the magpies located it for me in short order.He sure is good company and that is the only time he let me down.
