Barrel question

I see x-barrels have 3 grove and 6 groove barrels why 2 groove options.. And what would be the better of the 2.. Also would a 1-11 twist stabilize 32 to 40 gr 20 cal bullets?? Thanks. Dan
 
The two groove options offers little advantage besides catering to all crowds IMO. If someone hears that the less grooves the better they will jump on that train and ride it to its end. Others will want the norm and stay with 6 groove. There are beliefs that the less number of grooves provides easier cleaning and higher velocity. There is also the idea that an odd numbered land groove configuration will deform the bullet more equally because you don't have opposing lands that are likely very slightly different in height. My bet is I can't shoot well enough to tell a hairs bit of difference.
