My buddies have had great luck with the factory Hornady 55 max and the Performance 53 gr Vmax in 223 AR15s. I shoot strictly handloads.

Where are you finding these at that price? Thats a deal
 
that's a good price on those 223 shells... you 223 boys should load up on them


that 200 count of fiocci 50 gr vmax for 95.00, including the ammo case looks really appealing as well
 
Any round with an expanding bullet should work just fine. That being said, Hornady Varmint Express, Winchester Varmint-X, or Nosler's Varmint ammo would do wonders. Those would be my picks if I didn't reload

. Ive used the Hornady Varmint express and it works like it should.
 
223 or 22-250 Winchester white box. 40 rounds of 45 grain hollow point that knock the pizz out of anything shot with them. If I didn't handload these are what I would be using, shoots .2-.3 in my rifle.
