My wife and I went out tonite, behind my buddys gravel pit. We had coyotes howling as soon as we got out of the truck. It was a dark night so we set up in the middle of the field.Set the call about 80 yards up wind. Played some rodent distress for 2 minutes, muted the call for a few minutes and then played different coyote vocalizations for a while. I played female whimpers followed by female long howls. We saw 3 coyotes run across the field cross wind of us into a little hedgerow. I muted the call for a few minutes and then fired up some male challenge and in came this beauty! Droped her with my new to me 22-250. With the heavy scope I was able to see the hit perfectly.
