I went out about 2 weeks ago, here in Bay Area CA, and used Female long howl, followed with, female barks & howl. Shot 2 yotes in 2 stands. What are your favorite vocalizations for breeding season? Alec, Concord CA

How long does one sit before calling into your first set,If you can sneak in your spot do you set up and call or do you sit a few minutes to let things simmer down

Female submissive howls is a good one. There is no good reason to wait before you start calling. If you feel like you can seal the deal if a coyote responds, go for it. If you are winded after a long walk, might be a good idea to wait a minute or two to get your breathing leveled out.
