Indian Rosewood tree

Is Indian Rosewood desirable for calls? I am cutting down a tree in my backyard and would like to offer wood pieces to anyone who might want some. I will be able to take it to the PM convention if so.

I am not selling it. Just don't want it to go to the burn pile if it is useful to someone.
