Seen this "race" advertised on the MSN website, this morning.

While interesting (IMO), I don't really believe the "race" was fair.
Here's why:
From the info I garnered, the fastest recorded speed of a Rhodesian Ridgeback (the dog in the video), is 34mph.
This is, of course, at a sprint.
I understand why they used this dog for this "race". T
he dog & cheetah have been raised together, and know each other.
Less likely that a fight would occur.
However, I think they should've found some way to use a greyhound, for the race comparison.
The fastest recorded greyhound is 45mph.
That is much quicker than the Ridgehound.
Still probably not as fast, in a sprint, as the cheetah.
After all, the cheetah can get up to 65mph.
And like the dogs, is built as a sprinter.
But, I believe it would've made for a better comparison.
Yeah, I know, nobody will care about this but me.
And that's ok.
