What are the chances that my 22-250 with 1-12 twist will shoot these im currently shooting the 1365 really good but would like something a little heavier for the longer shots.

.224 CF
- 7" for bullets heavier than 70 gr.
- 8" for bullets heavier than 70 gr.
- 8" * Ratchet rifled 4 groove
- 9" for bullets up to 70 gr.
- 10" * for bullets up to 65 gr.
- 12" for bullets up to 63 gr.
- 14" for bullets up to 55 gr.
- 14" * Ratchet rifled 4 groove

The paste is from the Shilen website. It may not be ideal, but could be worth a try. There are other bullets you could try too, then there's always the 243.

SGK 65 gr #1395 @ 3375 fps was not suppose to stabilize (1:12) in my TC Venture 22-250, according to JBM.
The day I shot it at 100 & 200 yards, they were going through the target making small even holes, normal grouping for me..
Will try it again to be sure..

Haven't tried 55gr #1365, but JBM says its stable(1.53) @ 3500 fps.

My load for #1395 (65gr) SGK is 34.6 gr of IMR 4166, F210M primer, Hornady brass, COL of 2.370".
Still testing this load to insure stability. As usual, work up your own & be safe.

The bullet length is the real issue. That bullet will likely be stable in a 1-12, only some tests will give you the answer. My bud shoots those in a 1-14 .22-250 with success. Some times it works out, some barrels prove to be less cooperative. The 55 gr version is a for sure and has a proven harvest record on predators. A favorite in many .22-250 loads.

Ok well i found a box in town today i will loads some up and post my results hoping for good ones. This bullet might be a good longrange higher bc bullet for taking out the coyotes. Wont be able to get to the range till middle of next week but ill post up what I find. Going to try varget with cci 200 primers and hornady brass.

Well i finally shot these at 200 im getting half moa with a couple different charges. I was using varget cci 200 primers hornady brass and 2.350 for seating depth.

We shoot the 65 grain Sierra in the 22-6mm it is a good bullet. If it doesn't work in your 12 twist try the Winchester 64 grain power point, I know it will work and is the toughest bullet I have used in a 1/14 twist 220 Swift.

I have a 1 in 14" and a 1 in 12" and the 55 grainers are NOT the most accurate bullets in either one, which is a shame because they always performed well on coyotes and were pretty fur friendly. Guess I'll have to try the 65s.

I shoot the Sierra Game King 1390 55g HPBT in my Remington 700 VSSF 220 Swift with 26 inch barrel and 1:14 twist. I am shooting them over IMR4064 powder at 3823 fps (chronographed) and they are extremely accurate and fur friendly.
I set up my Leupold scope with a CDS dial based on this load. It is always my "go to" gun when I open the safe and am headed out to chase the predators. I don't have the target but when I got it dialed in to then send the information off the Leupold to get the CDS dial made, it grouped 10 rounds at 100 yards at just over 1/2 of an inch. That is plenty accurate in my book.
