FoxPro Fusion vs. Shockwave?

I'm in the market for an electronic caller after my Primos Alpha Dogg was DOA upon opening for Christmas. I figured I'd better go FoxPro as they have stellar reviews and the CS seems to be great (Primos is lacking due to being manufactured overseas).

With that said, I've narrowed my choices to the Fusion and the Shockwave. Terrain I'll be hunting in is the Southeast which consist of smaller pastures (i.e. 20 acres) and hardwoods. What would you recommend based on the two and the terrain?

I'd recommend the Fusion for the kind of country you described. Easy to carry, easy to set up, plenty of volume, plenty of features.

I like going minimalist style. Shockwave looks a bit larger. I chose the fusion. Can't be more happy with it. The range on the remote is excellent. All the bells and whistles.

Ohio has lots of big, open areas, much more so than Kentucky. Fusion works well here and I'm sure it works good in Ohio too.
