Another interesting thing about Bluedot loads in .223, running 15.0 gr under a 40 gr Vmax, 26" R700 Varmint, avg velocity was 3270 fps! 14.0 averaged 3140 fps. The 15.0 gr shot 5 into .400.
The really interesting is when the brass is ejected, it's cool to the touch. In this case, much cooler than the 75+ sunny day. We ran some of these loads on a PD town and the barrel did not get really warm until 20-25 rounds were fired. Regular H335 loads took less than half that many to warm up a barrel. Fairly quiet in comparison, we shot a few hundred without issue. Fun stuff.
