late night visits

I keep getting late night trail cam pics of 3 coyotes.
I can never seem to see them in the evening or mornings.
I always play the wind and never had any luck. I think they are only traveling the fence line a couple nights a week.
Always between 11 Pm to 2AM. It is just outside of town so i think they are only nocturnal and are not staying there.

Anyone else see the same thing?
Think I'm going to have to hunt late night and see....

I have a pasture that the coyotes use every night between 8pm and 1am there are several different packs of coyotes that use it. But I have trail pics 250 yards from where we kill them at night of coyotes in the middle of the day. It's a 1500 acre farm and we Killem all on 50 acres of it. I could hunt it every night and not over hunt it

2 weeks and no more photos of them.
It has been a week since I checked the cams.
I'll check them tonight.
I just think they are not living near by and only pass thru
on occasion. I am just outside of town and there is a lot of people / houses close by to my East. The west end of the area is country the further you go. The fields have really thick rows separating them.
I'm talking 10 yard wide brush and trees. I do see lots of Cottontails.

I am hoping colder weather will make them come by more often.
I know there is food for them.

Here is the land.
I can hunt all surrounded by yellow.
Red dots are trail cams.
Red surrounded field is where I got the photo in the middle of the south side.
As you can tell I have to shoot west. Normal wind is from SSW to NNW.

Update,

1 Down! Got lucky last night.
Saw one walking in around 8:15 last night.
He was about 125-150 out and ran to the west end of the field.
Could not get him to budge. He kept pacing back and forth about 260 out.
Almost 5 min of trying he would not come any closer.
So I lined the .204 up with his eyes and let her rip!!
Instant DRT!!! I took out his left eye. No exit hole.
Love the .204 . Will be a hide with no holes!
After the hunt I grabbed the Trail Cam Cards.
I have a photo of Him about 1 Hour before the hunt.

Nice job on getting one! Our trail cams have been getting pics on and off since April. Anywhere between 1 and 3 coyotes at a time. Out of all the pics we've gotten I think 1 pic in September had a coyote in the last part of daylight. Everything else is between 11pm-4am. Hunting in a young growing timber block has been quite a learning experience for me. Going to try and bait them after this deer season. 2 Winters of trying to call them in hasn't worked for me, timber is too thick.
 
Night hunting thick stuff would be really hard I think.

I had the ability to start night hunting and it made the difference in
my area. I have 1 down finally. Waiting for colder weather and will try a night hunt again.
