Would a 12.5" 6x45 be able to take deer at 150-200 yards? Wanting to shorten a gun up for the boy out of a box blind. Also thinking 6.8 but hate to get into another caliber when I have 3 6x45's
A 16" 6x45 with a collapsible stock seems the most logical choice for a shorty deer stand gun. You have to remember blast and noise on a 12.5" barrel will be overwhelming in itself.
