Foxpro Fusion sound problem

Picked up a new fusion today. Put lithium batteries in it and immediately the sound at full volume started skipping . Tried 2 other sets of batteries including some rechargeables. Problem is still there.

Anyone ran into this problem before?

I'm leaving in a few days for a 2 week long trip and hoping I have a working call.

Had the same problem with a shocwave. If you search here you should find a thread on it. Send it in or exchange it where you got it.

There was a post several weeks ago that dealt with being too close to the ecaller. It causes some kind of feedback problem.

wisturkeyhunter,

It definitely sounds like a battery issue of some type. When a caller starts skipping at the higher volumes, it is almost always battery related. I know that you have tried some different battery setups. Without knowing the condition of the batteries you tried, it's hard to tell what could be causing the battery issue. If you can't get it figured out, give the Customer Service guys a call, and they can go over it on the phone with you.

Regards,

Mike Dillon
