Michelle kills a mud monster

This was back in 2011. We had seen this boar several times and he always managed to see us first. This particular day it was well over 100 degrees and we suspected he would be laying in one of the many wallow along this creek bed. Sure enough he was.

Nice going for Michelle. That was a great shot and hardly a squeak from the hog.

You must have a lot of cottonmouths there. That first one was a big one. Do you not kill them?

We usually don't bother them. There got to be so many in that place we finally did go back with a .22 and killed 11 in one evening and several after that. we still see a few there but not as bad as they were.

Those things would make my skin craw. Glad we don't have them here in the mountains.
