i need some opinions.
I am going to buy a new are in the next couple of days locally and have it down to a 20" fluted dpms prarie panther
or a Remington 22" fluted. both have a2 stocks, the dpms is $200
more. money not the deciding factor but is a factor.
anyone have any experience with one of these?

As JoeBob said, basically the same rifle. A buddy has a DPMS LR308 and I have a Remmy R-25, both are Stoner platforms, so GTG for Pmags.

My R-25 seems a tad bit more refined and shoots heavies (175+) a bit better than his LR. Get the Remmy and put the $200 towards glass.
I love my R-25 and it is not for sale.

I bought one before last season and it shoots like any bolt gun I've got and it's a predator hunting machine. I shoot 68 gr. Hornady BTHP over 23gr h335.

Good call on the remington, put that extra cash towards some ammo or a new call

well fellas I got it out yesterday and put some rounds threw it.
shoots ok thus far, with the garbage factory trigger I was able to find a load that shoots 1" to .75" and I can live with that all day with factory ammo and my marginal benchrest skills.
Australian outback with 55 grain sierra blitzkings.
(I know this thread is useless without pics, but I did not take any)

When I bite the dust, My R-15 is being buried with me!!

Its funny you mention that I bought a couple boxes of those the other day!
Here is the list of what I have ran so far
53vmax superformance
50 vmax fiochii
55 vmax HPR
60 nosler BT
40 Winchester varmint x
55 sierra blitz kings in austraian outback ammo

Get a timeny trigger from joe bob outfitters. Worth the money and joe bob has great customer service and it ships quick!!

I got to the range this morning with a few more types of ammo.
maybe I got lucky but it shoots most everything into 1-1.5 inches or so.
but in addition to the 55sbk it really likes the nosler 55 grain tipped varmageddon load...runs .50-.75 pretty easy even with the junk factory trigger.
Happy so far!

Good news!!!
