This rifle is by far my favorite squirrel hunting a rifle. I dont know what but something got on the barrel and ate a good size spot of the blueing clean off and I am just sick about it!! Is there anyway this can be repaired or am I just SOL? And if so is it an expensive process? Thanks in advance for any help!
 
Blood is real good at eating up blue. You can try some of the Insta blue and it will make it look a lot better. Contact me on a PM.
 
Degrease the area and lightly buff with 0000 steel wool. Then massage the area with a rag wetted with Brownells Oxpho-blueing. BTDT and it's pretty easy to fix. It will always have a faint difference in color, but can be worked.
