204 Ruger powder?

If you could pick one powder for the 204 Ruger ,using 35 grain Bergers ,what would you choose?

I really like Benchmark in my .204 but I would be just fine with H335 if I could not find Benchmark. RL-10 is also a dandy. I bet that your gun would like at least one of those and likely all three of them.

Benchmark.

H335 is a good substitute, but be very aware of the temperature sensitivity. Loads developed with H335 in cool weather can become very dangerous on very hot days. Don't ask me how I know ......

Never shot the 35 berger but my 700vls really likes 3222 with a 40 vmax.

Benchmark. Worked well enough in six different .204's that I never used anything else. My son used IMR4895 in one that shot phenomenally.

IIRC, I load 35 gr. Bergers with H-4895, and have loaded RL-10x, but H-4895 had great velocities, and better accuracy, in my Savage 16.

I am using IMR 4895 with the 35 gr Bergers.

H-4895 worked great in several of my. 204 Rugers. It's not temp sensitive and will give you plenty of velocity.

Never shot the Bergers....but I've shot out two .204 bbl's using Benchmark. The only powder I use for them.

CFE 223...both my 204's love it with 32, 39's and 40...
Tried them all, used Benchmark a lot before I found the CFE, never going back.
