Spikes Texas Predator Posse Logo Lower with 3lb Skeletonized Timney Trigger, Magpul ODG CTR Stock, Magpul ODG Moe Grip, Mil Spec Buffer Spring Tube with Spike ST-T2 Buffer, and Magpul 5.56 P-Mags.

Will start my load development this week using 6.8 (.277) Nosler 90 grain bonded bullets, 2200 powder (1680 and 5744 are on my list) and CCI 41 primers:

Numbers that I've seen from others using A 5R barrel 90gr Gold Dots with Max Loads:

2200= 2575
1680= 2740
5744= 2791

I went up to 22.3gr 5744 without pressure signs using the 90GD. Velocity was 2458fps from my 12.5" 1:7 twist. The 85TSX does very well, 22.4gr 5744 gives 2618fps.

Powder: 5744 @ 22.7 (Primers Flattened)
Primer: CCI 41
Bullet: 90gr Nosler, Bonded Solid Base PP
COL: 2.104"
Average velocity: 2703 FPS
Group size: .986"
Note: four shots under .700 and pulled 5th.

23grains of 5744 blew primers!

MDWS 16", SS barrel with 1:11 twist

Powder: 1680 @ 25gr (Primers slightly Flattened)
Primer: CCI 41
Bullet: 90gr Nosler, Bonded Solid Base PP
COL: 2.104"
Average velocity: 2710 FPS
ES: 25 fps
Group size: five shots .896"

22.3gr of 5744 is as far as I could push 85gr TSX bullets with my 16" ARP 277WLV barrel. You really need to be watch it with any more than 22.3gr. 5744 is SUPER spiky near max loads. The .277WLV is a awesome caliber enjoy it.
