To the OP... Go over to the Buck Knives website, then go to the Buck Knives Custom Shop and build you a unique Buck fixed or folder for right at your $100 mark. You can get the folder or fixed blade of your choice in S30V blade steel, traditional brass or nickel silver (my preference) bolster, pins or no pins and material/color options, finger grooves or not and several handle material options such as various wood, G10, antler or horn, sheaths in black or tan leather or cordura for $100 give or take depending upon your custom choice selections. If you choose one of the wood or G10 handle options and a cordura sheath you can slide inside the $100 range and have a truly unique knife of your design that none of your buddies can match from over the counter at the local stores or in the catalogs. I've had several of the Custom Shop 110's and they have been beautifully done. Buck uses the Paul Bos heat treatment and their S30V is excellent. Here are a couple pics of some... These are not your grand daddy's Buck knife!
