FRIDAY NIGHT MUSIC THREAD...

If I didn't know that it was Van Halen, I wouldn't believe it. Short hair on everyone. And, is it just me, or did DLR lose what little singing ability he had, with the hair cut...kinda like ol' Sampson lost his strength?
Just saying.

Most people who have an idea of who Ronnie James Dio was, know him for his loud, "metal" singing.
But old Rainbow fans also recall his milder, softer side as well.......

Some other great songs of the era....

These next few misc. groups/songs, I'm betting most folks haven't heard...or heard of.......

Well then Will you should like this also...

Anyone here, besides me, remember the "early" years of "That Little Band from Texas", before the Eliminator LP?
I admit, I think the first song I heard was probably "Tush". Then, when I found "La Grange", I was truly hooked.

I hadn't planned on being online today.
But, since I am.........

Let's start off with a pair of legends......

Back in the early '80s, this was pretty much my theme song.....

I seen someone talking about a new CD & Euro tour that "Germany's favorite singer" is starting.
And it reminded me just how many actors, think they should also have singing careers.
Granted some CAN sing a little. But then again, some can't. hahahahaha

Gotta post some songs from my fave band, on this Hump Day.
Makes me feel old, being a huge fan for 40 years.
Also hard to believe it's been 20 years since they played "Unplugged".

I think this is one of the most under-rated soft ballads ever......

This song, I always felt, should have been released as a single. But it wasn't.......
