Set up yesterday before sunrise, had three talking and heading my way, one had to be within 150 yds, but no show. Don't know what happened, but the next thing I know they were headed off in the other direction. After 15 - 20 mins. got up to get the decoys, stepped into the field, looked left and standing about 150 yards looking at the decoys was a dog. I didn't have a rifle and he bolted after about 15 seconds. Killed dogs here in the past, however I had set up for dogs at this location three times this year with no luck. He was looking for a turkey breakfast! I wish I would have seen him before moving, he may have come into shotgun range, at least I would have brought something home.
