I have to totally agree. I went to a pro shop that carried Hoyt, Elite, and Mathews. I shot all three at 62 lbs. The HTR was VERY smooth and a joy to shoot, but the arrow speed was obviously slower leaving the bow, and also proved so on target penetration. I also shot the Hoyt Carbon Spyder ZT 34 and Elites top of the line bow (cant recall the name. The Elite and Hoyt were definitely smooth also, with the Elite having the best wall. I chose the Hoyt because it felt the best in my hand by far, and wouldn't you know it, it was the most expensive. (just my luck) If I were strictly target shooting, the HTR would be in my hands....
