Any one loading for the 77/44 ?
My questions :
Are they loaded just like a standard 44 mag with the crimp ?
Also any starting loads with a 300 gr. point ?
Thanks for any info.

I don't have a 77/44 but been loading 44's since the 70's. Yes you want to crimp. Currently I have a Marlin lever action and a Blackhawk ( not a super Blackhawk) in 44 mag. Use mine for scouting , still hunting deer, and wild pigs. Kind of my go to combo. I'm not loading anything with that heavy a bullet.

Been thinking about a 77/357.

I love my 77/44 for packing around - short and light weight - kinda like carrying a .22 but a lot more punch.
Thanks for the answer

You have yours for exactly the same reason i have mine. "Regardless of Manufacturer they are very handy guns". I also really like having a handgun in the same caliber . I went with a Blackhawk 5 1/2" barrel because it was the lightest design that held 6 shots.

I am using a variety of 240 gr bullets and 23 grs of H110 or WW296. For pigs I use Remington 240 gr soft points and Hornaday XTP'S.
