Krieger free float hand guard ..REMOVAL ?

Folks ,
I have a Krieger free float hand guard on a 20" SS-fluted Varmatch bbl.
I sent my upper-bcg & charging handle to Krieger and they made the bbl and fit / assembled the upper completely . I would like to remove the hand guard but can't seem to get it to move . I know that turning the handguard itself is a no no .
So how do you get it off ?

If they didn't put a set screw in it, I bet they used locktite between the barrel nut and the handguard. Try your wives hair dryer.
