22-250 bullet choices for coyotes amd long ramge shooting.

My Ruger Mark II does real good with 53 grain Hornady VMax, Nosler 55 grain Ballistic tips, and 55 grain Varmegeddon. I've done under 1/2" groups with all of those. I use CFE223 and Benchmark powders.

It is a 1:14 twist.

If mine was a 1-12 twist, I'd start with the 53 vmax or 55 nosler bt or 55 sierra blitzking. All 3 are good bullets.

I have a 22-250 Ruger American Predator. It has a 1:10 twist. I shoot 50gr. V-max using reloads. Using 36 grs. IMR 4064. Chronographed at 3600 FPS. I shot 2 Prairie Dogs at 400 Yds. today. Bang-flop. No coyotes yet, I usually use my 223 on them to save on the pelts.
