Hey all. I Just wanted to share my experience with the Night Optics D950 so far. I have not shot with the Unit just yet, but I have done a little fiddling around with it under low light. Thought id share some photos of the performance of the unit for those who may be interested in it and being that there's little info out there on it. Bare with me now, I tried my best to get some shots using my smart phone, so there will be image quality loss galore. The unit may not be a pv22 or a mil spec equivalent, but for the lower cost and weight of 22 ozs vs the 30+ on a pvs22 it's definately worth it.

Throw lever Adapter is threaded on to unit and slid on to font of your day scope. Seems to be pretty solid, gave it a quick wiggle over my bed and the unit held to the day scope just fine. An optional picatinny mount is made for the unit and can be purchased for 300$ i believe. You need different size throw lever mounts for different size day scope objectives. One of your choice comes with the unit. The others you have to buy seperately.
first shot at 4x magnification. Day scope is a Vortex Viper PST ffp 4 to 16 power. I was able to read the Roman Numerals on the clock with no problem without IR. Room was dark enough that initially you wouldn't be able to see anything until your eyes adjusted after a minute or two. Room has a sliding glass door with shades and two skylights( Overcast skys, just some minimal outside lighting bleeding into the room). I was laying in a room down the hall about 10 to 15 yards away.
Day scope about 9x power. Still able to read Roman Numerals on clock fairly clear with no IR. Maybe some minimal gain and resolution loss(very minimal).
Shot at 16x. Still able to make out clock and Roman Numeral numbers without IR just barely. focusable IR at that magnification at the lowest power setting cleared things up beautifully.
