Hello All,

This rifle has been in the making for a little over a year now and I am very pleased to say the least on how it turned out. It all started with Dan over at Mullerworks Barrels working with me on getting me a M24 contoured barrel. Once I received that and all my other parts, everything got boxed up and shipped to Travis Stevens over at TS Customs in Miller, SD (https://www.facebook.com/TSCustomsRifles). Travis did all my metal work along with bedding my stock. Travis does top notch work and it shows when you receive your rifle. In the mix of all the work Travis did, I sent my barreled action down to Ident Marking Services to do my engraving on my rifle. When Travis received it back he finished all the work he needed to do and then finally the rifle made it into my hands .

The parts used in this build are:

- Manners T5A Stock
- Remington 700 Action
- PTG M5 Bottom Metal
- PTG Nesika Bolt Shroud
- PTG Bolt Handle
- AI Magazines
- Timney Calvin Elite Trigger
- Mullerworks M24 Barrel (bugholes.com)
- Seekins 20 MOA Rail
- Vortex Razor Gen ii 4.5-27x56
- Vortex Precision Match Rings
- Vortex Throw Lever
- American Defense QD Bipod Mount
- AAD Scope Covers

The first photo is the one from when I received it from Travis.

Engraving done by Ident Marking

The optics I will be using is the Vortex Razor Gen ii 4.5-27x56 which will be arriving next week. This is where the build becomes unique. I was searching hard for someone to match the color of the Vortex Razor Gen ii scope and wasn't having any luck until I spoke with Branden over at Custom Gun Coatings (http://customguncoatings.com/) (https://www.facebook.com/CustomGunCoatings). I shipped Branden my Razor Gen ii scope and he worked with his guy on getting the color to match. It took a few months but with patience and the trust I think everyone has in Branden and spraying some test sprays he nailed the color on the dot. I told Branden the pattern design I wanted on the stock and told him to take his talent and imagination and do what he does best. Needless to say I was in shock when received my first picture from him. Branden ended up laying up my stock in the 4 colors (Vortex, FDE, Tan, and White) I wanted and then did my action in the Vortex Color along with accenting FDE throughout the project. He also coated my bipod, bipod QD mount, scope covers, throw lever, rings, etc....

Below are some images I captured this weekend but stay tuned for pictures with the scope mounted.

Seen your pics over on the hide, very nice rifle indeed. I can't wait to see it with that awesome high end vortex on top of it..

Hey hammargren, Keep those of us that live up here in MinnDak land informed on how your new gun performs. I am always interested in the custom gun makers up here in the Tri-state area. I like the work of Mike up here in Bemidji MN over at D-Tech on AR's.

That is one sweet looking gun, Enjoy the new toy....

Thanks everyone for all the comments. The rifle shoots amazing. Finally got the scope mounted this last weekend and also got to play a little with some ammo. Only had 1 type of bullets (75 gr AMAX) but they performed amazing out of this gun. I can officially say I think this gun will shoot any bullet you put into it which I didnt doubt once with TS Customs doing the work. Attached are some finished pictures.

The two pictures below showing groupings was at 100 yards and the first picture with the 3 bullet holes was my first time getting it on paper. This gun shoots and I fully expect it to shoot bullet holes once I figure out exactly what bullet and powder I want to run. Waiting for the new Sierra TMK 69's to come out. Pretty sure those will be my ticket.

Once again a huge thanks to Travis over at TS Customs and also Branden at Custom Gun Coatings for the amazing work both of them do.

Thank B585. This gun shoots like a dream. I have only put around 40 rounds down range so far with it but hoping to get it a little more dialed in next time out. Just got the new Sierra TMK 69's this weekend. Hoping in the next couple weeks to get some loads loaded up and see how they perform out of the gun.
