No argument from me. Better is in the eye of the shooter perhaps. For one thing it meters better being a smaller grain and goes into the case a bit easier without bridging. For me in a 22" barrel 28 grs of 8208 gives me an average of just over 3,900 fps with an ES of about 12. H4895 with 28 grs gives me about 3,725 in the same rifle with the 35 Berger. 8208 is slightly more accurate for me, your results obviously may vary.
I like to keep the 35 Berger at about 3,900 fps so with my 26" barrel in my other 204, I drop the charge down a little to 27.6 grs. of 8208 and get the same speed. As I said, if I was shooting 40's I'd probably opt for H4895 or AR-Comp.
