Never trapped before

I've never trapped or went with anyone to check traps, but I am very interested in starting. I can read stuff on the internet and I have, but I'd like to hear some advice from you guys. What is some stuff that I absolutely need to know? What should I be looking for? Any advice/input would be fantastic! (Other than advising me not to do it because it's addicting

Location, Plenty target animals, Right bait or lure and lots of scouting

Bed every trap solid!! Experiment with all kinds of different lures. Start out simple.

trapperman.com is a great resource. Lots of great information on there. I would suggest either going with somebody to teach you or learn all you can on trapperman.
