223??

I have never owned a 223 have always opted for a 22-250 instead but am kinda getting the urge
We're is a good starting point on bullet

For my kind of shooting which is ground squirrels and prairie dogs I like 40 to 50 grain bullets. If all I could ever get my hands on was the 50 grain Nosler Ballistic Tip then I would be just fine with that.

Those 52 and 53 gr sierras are hard to beat with nearly any suitable powder.

I like the 53gr Vmax, but this summer Im going to try out the Sierra 65gr GK to see how it shoots and try it on a few coyotes.

I've tried 40,45 and 55 through 1-12 twist.They all shoot great with Varget and H335.

I have always used 748 with most all bullet weights, the last few years I have got hooked on the 40gr V-Max.
