A little help if you would

Ok about a year ago I bought an entry level AR just to see if I like the platform. I just sold it tonight to get something better. Yep I liked it!
I my forum searches here RRA gets a lot recommendations. Saying that I'm trying to decide with another .223/5.56 or go with a 6.8 spc. I'm guessing that my extra mags for the 5.56 can't be used in the 6.8 so I would need to buy new accessories for it?
I don't hand load so factory ammo is how I would roll. The thought behind a 6.8 was that my wife or grandson could use it for deer with the adjustable stock and I can use it for Coyote hunting. But don't know how the factory fodder is for the 6.8.

Thanks for any input!

I have a 6.8 and use it for deer. It is a good all-around caliber and will do exactly what you want it to for the whole family. Pretty easy to find factory loads, but not necessarily the exact ones you might want.

You are correct, different mags.
