GC, are you saying the elk in MO are an intentional transplant of KY elk?
For sure and several million dollars spent in an all out restoration effort. We have about 200 or so elk in the restoration area now. When the population tops 400 we will have a very limited draw elk hunt. We are probably five years or so away from that. I'm fortunate to hunt smack dab in the middle of the area. I see elk sign all the time and one brisk October morning while sitting in my tree stand bow hunting deer I was lucky enough to hear a couple bulls bugling.
