Good stuff! I took my 17WSM on a few prairie dog hunts and it does very well on putting them down quickly and efficiently, like your video shows!

Enjoyed that! I take my .17 HMR out with me every year to take a few pasture poodles with. While I don't try to go past 150 yards or so it does a fine job on them. I'm guessing that the WSM might give as much as another 50 yards. That's a good thing.

I have used my 17 WSM on a couple of hunts now and it is amazing. Shoots very flat and totally annihilates the prairie dogs. No recoil - just "poof" and down!!

I too am fond of my 17 wsm, although it seems to often get bad reviews on the forums.
