Speer 52gr HP Varmint/22-250

Should be a good one. If it's shooting well, then you have a winner. Sounds like a relatively fur friendly one also as long as you stay off of bone

One of my favorites, shoot it in my 22-204, 22-250 and 5.6x50R Mag. I buy them a K at a time.

Rick Jamison recommended this bullet in one of his books about calling predators. I've used this bullet on coyotes and they ususally go in and don't come out.

I have shot a bunch of these at groundhogs. There was usually no exit, but if you picked up the groundhog by the tail it would slosh from the internal damage. The Speer 52 HP should be very fur friendly in a .22-250. The Speer doesn't have a great ballistic coefficient since it has that big gaping hollow point, but they are very effective. I haven't used them in a while since I went to Hornady 55 grain soft points in bulk at a very good price.
