Is it too late to start trapping?

I'm a complete rookie here and the only trapping experience I have had was with my dad about 30 years ago. He trapped beaver and coons mostly. I'm wondering if it's too late in the cold weather season to try my hand at trapping coyotes. My dad has a few coyote traps still and I would buy some new ones also. I 2 different pieces of private land to trap on, and a handful of public land spots with a good amount of coyote sign. What are your thoughts of attempting this now and any advice would be welcome. Thanks Bill

The frozen ground and freezing the sets is my concern really. I'm looking at picking up some bridger #3 modified 4 coil traps from Cumberland and also the wolf fangs earth anchors. How difficult is it to drive these anchors into frozen ground? Any tricks to it? Also would you try to dig a hole to bed the trap into the ground or try to use more of the snow cover and bed inside that. Wondering how doable it is to get a trap bedded into frozen soil.
